Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter of Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, a tool-and-die manufacturer and former worker in a factory. She was born on 10 March 1958in Meadville Pennsylvania. Michael, Kelly, Patrick and Dorothy Lawson are her 3 siblings. Stone was regarded as an academically gifted as a child and began in second grade at the age of five. Saegertown Senior High School in Saegertown Pennsylvania, was where she earned her diploma in the year 1975. She was also a contestant for Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move to New Jersey with her aunt New Jersey, where she was interested in pursuing a modeling career. A month later, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. While in Europe, she spent a full year in Milano and Paris. But, Stone became disillusioned with the modeling scene in Europe and decided to go into acting while in the country. Stone was in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" in the year twenty. The movie received mixed reviews.
