JacquelineJacqueline Fernandez was born 11 August 1985 in Sri Lanka. She is an actress and model. Her roles include Hindi movies and reality television shows. Her debut was with Aladin in 2009 her career has since established a career within the Hindi film industry. Fernandez is the daughter of a multiracial Eurasian family that includes the mother of a Canadian, Sri Lankan and Malaysian mother. She was born and was raised as a Bahraini citizen. After having graduated from the University of Sydney in mass communication, and then working in Sri Lanka as a television reporter, Fernandez entered the world of modeling. She was named Miss Universe Sri Lanka in 2006, and represented her country in Miss Universe 2006. Fernandez is being investigated for money laundering of the sum of the sum of Rs200 million since December 2021. The investigation is being executed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) who interrogated Fernandez for 10 hours in relation to the matter on 9 December 2021. Fernandez's request to downgrade of the Lookout Circular, (LOC) that was issued in her case and preventing her from travelling outside of India was denied by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on the 22nd day of December.
